• Place the garment on a clean hanger.• Begin steaming slowly from the bottom to the top of the garment. The steam will rise along the inside and outside of the fabric, removing the wrinkles.
• Periodically point the steamer away from the garment and smooth the fabric with your free hand.
• Repeat the above steps as necessary until the garment is free of wrinkles.
• Steaming both sides of the fabric will help to remove stubborn wrinkles.
• Delicate fabrics need to be steamed carefully to avoid damage caused by water spotting.
• Drapery and curtains can be steamed while still hanging.
• Caution should be taken while using a ladder or step ladder. Do not use a stool, chair or revolving chair.
• To steam towels, handkerchiefs and napkins, hang them over a rod or towel holder.
• Use distilled water to avoid mineral build-up.
