These Jiffy Steamers are used worldwide in retail outlets, supply houses and hat stores to block, stretch, crease, shrink or shape straw and felt hats. Ideal applications include removing nesting rings in seconds, freshening felt to a velvet texture and shaping the hat to the preference of the owner. The J-1 hat steamer heats up in less than 2 minutes and will provide steam for 2 hours per filling.
The standard Model J-1 Jiffy hat steamer is recommended for home or light commercial use with 1300 watts of steaming power. The Model J-1 is equipped with a plastic 1 gallon water bottle, no-drip check valve system, and brass hat nozzle for steaming and shaping hats. The J-1 Hat steamer heats up in 1 minute and is equipped with an on/off switch.
